The Four Daughters of God and the end of Viking Society

by Jørn Øyrehagen Sunde, professor from
the Faculty of Law in Bergen, Norway

Norway has been a world leader in legislation, and in directing a society through law, since the National Law of 1274. This means that in Norway, as few countries in the world, they get exclusively positive associations into law (and do not think elite, abuse of power, corruption etc). The way the National law  changed Norwegian society and introduced an uncorrupt justice system where even the weakest could win right, was an important starting point for this.
Psalm 84 in the Bible is one of the roots of the law.

The Lutefisk dinner on Sat., Nov. 23 is sold out.
