Tuesday Open House

Mission: Tuesday Open House is the pastor’s initiative outreach ministry to expand knowledge of persons with Norwegian interests and/or background about Mindekirken and Norwegian culture via five areas of interest. Areas are: Norwegian literature, historic/contemporary Norwegian life, music, theology/faith/life, and art.

The program provides an opportunity for fellowship, a time for lunch, a time for devotions, a time for singing a hymn and a time to share happenings at Mindekirken with the participants. Participants come from the entire metropolitan area to meet with persons of Norwegian and/or Scandinavian heritage.

Schedule:
Fellowship begins around 10:30 when attendees share a cup of coffee and visit

11:00 am – 11:30 am A Norwegian type Lunch is served which includes Norwegian waffles, coffee and a variety of simple open-faced sandwiches.

11:45 am Devotions, hymn and announcements

12:00 – 1:00 pm Culture Program

Cost for both the lunch and cultural program is a $7.00 donation
